It's back! One of our customers favourite contests is back this holiday season and on top of the fun you'll be helping a great cause. Proudly sponsored by So Danca Canada dancers are invited to bring in 3 non-perishable food items to either Gabie’s locations Saturday November 2nd & Sunday 3rd and we’ll trade you for a So Danca Pointe Shoe to decorate (while supplies last).
Take your shoe home, get creative and decorate your shoe then bring it back to Gabie's by November 23rd 2024 and you'll receive a ballot to win a pair of tickets to a local performance of The Nutcracker which will be drawn at random November 24th.
Our Newmarket winner will win tickets to York Dance Academy's The Nutcracker which will be performed at the NewRoads Centre for the Performing Arts in Newmarket. Our Barrie winner will win tickets to Just 4 Kicks Tales of The Nutcracker which will be performed December 14th and 15th at the Gravenhurst Opera House.
Six Gabie's Gift Certificates are also up for grabs in the voting segment of the contest. Voting will begin in-store and online November 25 to December 1 and there will be three voting categories
Mini: age 6 & under
Junior: age 7-12
Open: age 13+
Winners from each category will receive a $45 Gabie’s Gift Certificate in celebration of our 45th Anniversary Season. Don't worry dancers, we know how hard you will work on your pointe shoes so they will be available to pick back up starting December 27th to January 5th so that you can keep your master piece on display for years to come.
All non-perishable food items will be donated to the local food bank. Our Newmarket location will be donating to the Newmarket Food Pantry and our Barrie location will be donating to the Barrie Food Bank.
