The North Dance Company is an Aurora, Ontario based dance studio offering recreational and competitive programs for dancers age 2 to 17. The North opened its doors officially in July 2020 with over 5,000 square feet of custom-designed space, including 3 spacious studios. With community as their focus, The North offers professionally sprung dance floors, a parent viewing lounge with CCTV, a homework area, a kitchen space, and convenient parking.

HAIR: Should always be pulled neatly out of the face. Buns should be secured with pins and a hair net.
Company B-I : Ballet bun for ALL classes
Company A: Bun is required for ballet. Ponytail is acceptable for all other classes
BALLET
Dancewear: black bodysuit, pink tights.
(Boys) white fitted dance T, black shorts or tights
Shoes: Capezio 2037 Light Pink in Child or Adult Hanami Canvas (black for boys)
JAZZ
Dancewear: Black bodysuit or crop top, black dance shorts (not running shorts)
Shoes: To be determined based on costume. For September, dancers should wear the jazz shoes from last season.
Company A/B/C/D can wear Footundeez OR Dancepaws
TAP
Dancewear: Black bodysuit or crop top, black dance shorts (not running shorts)
Shoes:
Company A/B: Bloch S0313 Black JSAM
Company C/E/G/F: Capezio CG19 Black in Child or Adult Size
Company D: Transitioning to Bloch S0313 JSAM. Those who fit should be in JSAMS in September
Company H/I: Capezio 3800 Black Mary Jane
LYRICAL
Dancewear: Black bodysuit or crop top, black dance shorts (not running shorts)
Shoes: Footundeez OR Dancepaws
MUSICAL THEATRE
Dancewear: Black bodysuit or crop top, black dance shorts (not running shorts)
Shoes: Same as jazz no shoes. Unsure what shoes to get? Please confirm with Alex before wearing to class
HIP HOP
Dancewear: Black or grey sweatpants or shorts, North T-shirt
Shoes: White Air Force 1
